ABOUT ARTISTS -- BOBBY LEASH

Bobby Leash is currently working and living in Bangkok, Thailand. Growing up with Japanese manga and video games, one tends to have certain degrees of imagination running through his head. He builds and expands his own world since he can remember. There's always an urge to create, to reflect what he experiences into an art form. During his school years, he discovered digital painting. At the time, there wasn't much proper academic training around. With limited access to knowledge, he learned how to paint on his own. And unknowingly, developed his own style.

Many artists started with Manga art, and then move on as they mature. But he doesn't. The more he grows, the more he is drawn back to where he came from. To something he remembers fondly since his childhood. Cute, melancholy, and slightly macabre. His work made a place where kid's play reflects modern humanity. The world is unforgiving. The hope to survive is slim. But they'll live without one if they have to.
